Andres Nieto
Physiotherapist
Andres is an experienced physiotherapist with four years of clinical practice across Australia and overseas, dedicated to helping people of all backgrounds move better and return to the activities they love. With a strong background in musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and sports rehabilitation, Andres brings a wealth of knowledge in injury prevention and performance.
Throughout his career, Andres has worked closely with a variety of athletes, including volleyball and football teams, triathlon squads, and both recreational and high-performance runners and cyclists. This experience has given him a deep understanding of the specific demands of endurance and team sports, as well as the importance of a structured, evidence-based recovery.
Before transitioning into his career as a physiotherapist, Andres spent four years training and competing as a high-performance triathlete, and he remains an avid runner and cyclist today. These years of competitive sport taught him firsthand the physical and mental resilience required for peak performance and the critical role of active recovery—lessons that form the foundation of his physiotherapy approach today.
Andres is passionate about empowering his patients through a combination of therapeutic exercise, active rehabilitation, and progressive training. He enjoys the challenge of tailoring rehabilitation programs that fit into a patient's specific lifestyle, whether they are returning to elite sport or simply looking to stay active and healthy in their daily lives.
Outside of the clinic, Andres stays true to his athletic roots and is often found running, cycling, or hiking through the local trails. When he’s not outdoors, he enjoys unwinding with video games and catching up on his favourite series. Having recently completed his Master’s at Flinders University, Andres is excited to connect with the local community and help his patients stay fit and engaged in the activities they enjoy.
